E & E hand raises their

Alex, the African Serval Cat

African Serval Cats are found in the savannahs
and areas where water resources are abundant.
Bushy areas provide the best hunting sites for
them.  This species has very large erect ears that
are one of thier most prominent traits.  Servals
are often confused with Cheetah cats but the
serval's body is much longer than it is tall.  There
are no identical Serval Cats and they can be uniquely
identified by their markings.

Beatrice, the Binturong
(a.k.a. "Bear Cat")

Binturongs live in the trees of the tropical
forests of Southeast Asia.  They are usually
very tame but can be aggressive when they
are cornered.  If they get really mad they
can give a very powerful bite.  Otherwise,
when they are challenged by another animal,
they give a low growl and spit.  All of us who
know Beatrice just adore her!
